Apple has been working on its new “Spaceship” campus – officially called Apple Park – for many years and finally, it’s more or less complete.
Amazing new drone footage shows off Apple Park in full, and now all the scaffolding has come down and the landscaping is almost done, it’s looking incredible. Check out two minutes of impressive video below, including shots of the Steve Jobs Theater. Thanks to Duncan Sinfeld and his drone camera for capturing this footage.
One of Steve Jobs’ last appearances in public before his death was to pitch the campus design to the local council, and the 1000-seater auditorium at the new campus bears the name of the late Apple CEO. What you see in the video is just the lobby of the Steve Jobs Theatre – the rest of it is underground.
Next week, we’ll get to see more from the inside of the building as the Steve Jobs Theater will hold its first ever live event. It’s a big one, with Apple expected to unveil three new iPhones, plus a new Apple Watch and updated Apple TV.
Stick with us on September 12 and we’ll bring you all the big news from Apple Park.
