iPhone sales grow again in US & Europe (and SE becomes UK’s biggest-selling phone)

After a wobbly quarter or two, which saw iPhone sales slow across the world, data has show that sales are picking up once more – in the US and Europe at least.

In the last few months, Apple’s market share grew 1.3 percent to 31.8 percent in the US and 3.1 percent to 37.2 percent in the UK.

Even more impressively, the iPhone SE – Apple’s 4-inch device which was released in March 2016 – quickly became the UK’s biggest-selling smartphone, taking 9.2 percent of the market, just in front of the iPhone 6s at 9.1 percent.

Meanwhile, the 6s and 6s Plus outsold the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge by 15.1 percent to 14.1 percent.

But it isn’t all good news – China, one of Apple’s largest markets – has continued to slow, down 1.8 percent leaving Apple trailing both Huawei and Xiaomi.
